For many years, the City of Broken Arrow has produced an Annual Report which provides a summary of the City’s activities for the Fiscal Year. Documentation of yearly activities is an effective method of tracking progress and ensures accountability for initiatives passed by the public. Some of the highlights from this past year include voters renewing the Vision 2025 sales tax for City purposes, the Council hiring a new City Manager, and continued growth and recognition for the Rose District. These accomplishments are listed in the 2015 Annual Report under the categories of Fiscal Sustainability, Economic Growth, City Organization, Quality of Life and Infrastructure.
While the purpose of the Annual Report is to highlight the City’s accomplishments, it was also written with citizens in mind. Whether residents have lived in Broken Arrow for three (3) months or 30 years, Staff wanted individuals to read the Annual Report and understand how their City operates and where it stands fiscally. Because one of the goals in writing the Report was to make it as useful as possible, a Services Directory was added. A description of activities or functions of various departments and divisions is provided, along with a direct phone number and web address, if available. More residents are requesting the ability to fulfill City requests and services through the internet. Therefore, web pages, along with phone numbers, are listed in the Services Directory.
Complimentary copies of the 2015 Annual Report are available for pickup at City Hall, 220 S. First Street.
