Read the feedback report from GO bond public input meetings

meeting table

Over 300 residents attended public meetings held at South BA Baptist Church, Battle Creek and Forest Ridge Golf Clubs in late February - to shape the 2018 General Obligation Bond renewal package. Attendees were able to talk to department directors and managers about the projects most important to them, as well as projects they didn't feel were as needed.

This process will help staff pare down the $280 million proposed package to around $210 million. The City Council is committed to approving a bond package that will NOT raise taxes.

City staff recorded the comments provided by meeting goers, and the report can be read here

Another public meeting has been scheduled for residents to view the preliminary final bond package before Council approval in May. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m. at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center, 200 W. Albany Street.
