Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Meeting

The City of Broken Arrow and its consultants, Meshek & Associates, will host a public meeting on April 7 to discuss updating the city’s Hazard Mitigation Plan.

The Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies natural hazards and some human-caused hazards that could potentially threaten the city. In particular, the Plan analyzes our community’s capability to mitigate hazards, and highlights vulnerabilities that arise from these hazards. These elements of the planning process help drive the Plan’s mitigation strategy, which addresses the areas of greatest concern in Broken Arrow.

A key source for community capabilities, vulnerabilities, and other important information comes from input from community members. We hope that you will join us for this important public meeting to ask questions and share your insight.
