The Utilities Department operates and maintains the drinking water and sanitary sewer systems within the City of Broken Arrow. Our mission is to safeguard public health by supplying high-quality drinking water and safely reclaiming wastewater efficiently and effectively in our sanitary sewer system. We continuously improve our services and plan for the future to ensure the best outcome possible.

Our team comprises over 95 employees, each certified by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality as Water, Wastewater, or Laboratory Operators.

Our department is categorized into eight divisions: Administration, Water Systems Repair and Construction, Water Resources, Water Distribution, Water Treatment Plant, Meter Services, Reclaimed Water Collection, and Water Reclamation Plant.
