The Metropolitan Environmental Trust (M.e.t.) operates a recycling and e-waste center at 302 N. Elm Pl. in Broken Arrow.
Electronics that are old, broken, or unwanted are called electronic waste, or e-waste. The following e-waste items can be dropped off at The M.e.t.: cameras, cell phones, computer batteries, computer towers, copiers/scanners, fax machines, keyboards/mouse, laptops, microwaves, phones, printers, power cords, small appliances, UPS systems, and VCR/DVD players.
Other items that can be recycled at The M.e.t. include: #1 & #2 plastic bottles, plastic bottle lids, glass bottles, newspaper, office paper, magazines, aluminum cans, motor oil (5 gallon limit), batteries (household & auto), cooking oil (5 gallon limit), eyeglasses, phone books, plastic bags, steel cans, scrap metal, antifreeze (5 gallon limit), cardboard and paperboard.
