The Broken Arrow Police Department is located at 1101 N. 6th Street. We are committed to every contact being one that provides exceptional service and contributes to enhancing the quality of life for all members of our community.

The Broken Arrow Police Department is staffed by 164 Police Officers and 61 professional staff. The Department is organized into four divisions: Administrative, Headquarters, Operations, and Support. 


Operations Division

The Operations Division is responsible for emergency field response to citizen's requests for service, conducting preliminary field investigations, and for problem solving related to repeat calls, hazards, conditions conducive to crime, fear factors, and other conditions that deter the creation and maintenance of safe neighborhoods, traffic, vehicle maintenance and purchase, and other activities as directed.


Support Division

The Support Division is responsible for 9-1-1 operations, the processing and housing of prisoners, field response to animal problems and management of the animal shelter, maintenance of computer and communications systems to include NCIC and OLETS, processing, storing, and retrieving departmental investigative reports, building maintenance, and other activities as directed.


Headquarters Division

The Headquarters Division is responsible for the investigative functions of the Police Department, to include investigations of reported crime, as well as undercover investigations, sex offender registry, VOCA, grants management, planning and research, crime analysis, school resource officers, crime prevention activities, crime lab/technical investigations, training, recruiting and hiring, and other activities as directed.

Office of Professional Standards

The Office of Professional Standards is responsible for administrative functions of the Police Department, to include, internal affairs, public relations, policy and procedures, accreditation management, oversight of the department's property and evidence room, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control, and other activities as directed.

Make a Formal Complaint

If you have questions or concerns about your interaction with a police officer, please call 918-259-8400 and request to speak with an on-duty police department supervisor. A supervisor will return your phone call or meet you in-person within the city limits of Broken Arrow to address your concerns and facilitate the filing of a formal complaint.

All formal complaints will be forwarded to and reviewed by the Office of Professional Standards before being submitted to the Chief’s Office for assignment. Formal complaints will either be assigned back to the Office of Professional Standards or to the Watch Commander of the officer in question for further investigation.
