The Streets and Stormwater Department is structured in three divisions to help maintain all aspects of the 1,250 lane miles of roadway and 89 signalized intersection in Broken Arrow.

Streets Division is responsible for asphalt paving, base repair, filling potholes and dump truck support.

The Stormwater Division is responsible for storm drain repair, mowing and tree trimming/removal, drainage and concrete repair and nuisance abatement.

The Traffic Division maintains traffic signs, traffic and school zone signal systems, traffic calming devices and street markings.

Maintaining and enhancing the roads in Broken Arrow requires a dedicated team of skilled individuals working behind the scenes. From traffic control to asphalt repair, stormwater management, and more, our city streets are supported by a network of specialized crews led by experienced supervisors. This collaborative effort ensures that roads remain safe, reliable, and well-maintained, even as multiple projects are managed simultaneously across the community.

We prioritize typical business activities like patching potholes, installing speed humps, conducting traffic surveys, spraying for mosquitoes, repairing concrete on roads and curbs, sweeping streets, mowing abatements and removing snow/ice. Our citizens can trust that we will do our best to keep their streets safe during hazardous weather conditions.
