Need to dispose of household chemicals, non-latex paints, or pesticides?Hazardous Waste Disposal

Broken Arrow residents are now able to dispose of their hazardous household waste any time of the year at the City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility.

Broken Arrow residents will need to contact the M.e.t. at 918-584-0584 to receive a voucher number to present at the facility. This voucher number allows residents to dispose of up to 45 lbs of hazardous waste at the Tulsa facility free of charge. Disposal is $1.33/lb thereafter.

Check out their Swap Shop for free items that have been recycled by other residents!

The City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility is located at 4502 S. Galveston Avenue in west Tulsa and is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A full list of what can and cannot be recycled at the facility can be found here. Please see below for information on how to dispose of latex paints - please do not drop off latex paint when using a voucher.

Latex Paint - Did You Know?

Latex paint can be dried out and placed in your black trash cart. To dry, open the paint can and let it air dry. If the can is too full or is taking too long to dry out, you can spread it over cardboard and then throw the cardboard and can away in your black trash cart after the paint has dried.
