Community Development Block Grant Program Needs Hearing

A Public Hearing will be held at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Broken Arrow Community Center, 1500 S. Main Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to receive recommendations on housing needs for the cities and counties within the Metropolitan Tulsa HOME Consortium and non-housing community development needs for the cities within the Tulsa County CDBG Urban County. Tulsa County anticipates receiving $1,243,349 in FY 2023 HOME funds and $1,457,941 in FY 2023 CDBG funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Citizens are requested to participate in the Hearing and express their views on the allocation of these funds. Citizens are requested to express their views on housing needs in Bartlesville, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Bristow, Catoosa, Claremore, Collinsville, Coweta, Drumright, Glenpool, Hominy, Jenks, Owasso, Pawhuska, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Skiatook, Sperry and the unincorporated areas of Creek, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington Counties. Citizens are also requested to express their views on non-housing community development needs in Broken Arrow, Bixby, Collinsville, Glenpool, Jenks, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Skiatook, Sperry, and the unincorporated areas of Tulsa County.
Recommendations received will be considered by INCOG, CDBG Urban County Policy Committee, and the City of Broken Arrow in developing the Consolidated Annual Action Plan to be submitted to HUD. Comments or proposals, where feasible, will be incorporated into the Plan to be submitted to HUD by May 15, 2023.
