City Councilor Justin Green believes in prioritizing public safety, infrastructure, economic development, and quality schools while managing the city's resources and finances effectively.
For him, being on the City Council means more than just making executive and legislative decisions. It's a chance to actively listen to citizens' concerns, hopes, and dreams and work towards making the things that matter to them a reality.
Green is a long-time Broken Arrow resident and an Oklahoma State University graduate.
"My family and I enjoy all the opportunities afforded us here and are thrilled to live in such an innovative and progressive city," Green said.
He is a Corporal with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office and supervises the School Resource Officers. In addition to Councilor Green's experience in law enforcement, he has a finance background, has owned his own business, and served in church ministry.
He volunteers on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Special Olympics, serves on the Board of Directors for the Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputy FOP 188, and the Board of Directors for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Councilor Green currently serves on the 2024 Community and Economic Development Federal Action Committee.
And Councilor Green is very involved at BattleCreek Church and serves in various capacities such as the worship team, coordinating security, and volunteering for youth and children's church.
He is married to Tiffany Green, who has worked for Broken Arrow Public Schools for 15 years. She is currently the Principal at Timber Ridge Elementary. They have three children, and they all attend Broken Arrow Public Schools.
