Summer water usage

Summer in Oklahoma means higher temperatures and low rainfall totals. These conditions can lead to higher utility bills primarily because of increased water usage. In this video, City Manager Michael Spurgeon explains why your water bill may be higher during the summer months.

Sewer Rates

Residential sewer user charge is computed based on a three month average of monthly metered volume of water used by that customer during December, January, and February (billed in January, February, and March). New accounts are based on a standard 9,100 gallons or the actual water consumption each month. The customer must select a method at the time of application for service until a sewer average can be calculated as described above.

Stormwater and Streetlight Fees

In accordance with City ordinance, all citizens are responsible for stormwater and streetlight fees. Stormwater fees offset maintenance and containment of stormwater within the City. Streetlight fees offset the cost of construction, maintenance and repair of the street lighting system.
