City builds community leaders from within
At the City of Broken Arrow, we often discuss building our streets, facilities, and parks, but we are also building community leaders. Currently, six City employees have been selected for the Broken Arrow Chamber’s Leadership Broken Arrow Class of 2022.

Sculptor’s Korean War Memorial vision taking shape
The City commissioned Nunneley to create a bronze statue in honor of the heroes who served for a new Korean War Memorial to be installed at Broken Arrow Veterans Park, 1111 S. Main St.

New Orleans St. widening project is complete
Becco Constractors, Inc., finished the New Orleans Street (101st St.) widening project between Olive Ave. (129th E. Ave.) and Aspen Ave. (145th E. Ave.) on Thursday.

Council awards bonds to fund future projects
The Broken Arrow City Council awarded the sale of more than $20.5 million in bond monies from the 2018 General Obligation Bond that will fund projects from transportation, public safety, quality of life, public facilities, stormwater, and drainage improvements.

City looking to fill Ward 4 Council seat

Trash, recycling services through 2/3

LED lighting upgrades coming to BA Expressway next week
The inside lane of westbound Broken Arrow Expressway will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily Monday through Friday, for the next 45-60 days, while crews from Third Generation Lighting make the switch from the old lamps to the brighter, more cost-efficient lighting.
