Creative Arts Center CollageOn August 26, 2014, residents approved $1,400,000 to build a Creative Arts Center in the downtown Rose District, so that residents may create and display their art.

A private company has already committed to donating the property for the Creative Arts Center, which will be located at W. Dallas Street and S. Main Street. Proposition 7, which contains $1.4 million for the Creative Arts Center, will be used toward construction costs. The initial project is estimated to cost around $8 million, so the City is collaborating with private groups to raise the additional funds.
